Eligibility criteria for various IIT JMET 2012

Eligibility criteria to apply for the programme in various IIT JMET 2012 are given below. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can fill JMET Form and appear for JMET entrance examination.

Eligibility criteria for IIT Bombay

Programme: Master of Management (M. Mgt.)

Eligibility: Candidates with a first class Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent) or first class Master's degree in Science (as given by the Institute/University) or 60% marks in aggregate (all years/semesters put together) or minimum CGPI of 6.5 out of 10 are eligible to apply. Candidates with M.Sc. must have 60% in bachelor's as well as in M.Sc. degree. Qualifying degree of candidates with M.Tech. would be B.Tech./B.E. only. There is a relaxation of 5% in marks or equivalent in CGPI for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility criteria for IIT Delhi

Programmes: Master of Business Administration (MBA) with focus on Management Systems, Master of Business Administration (MBA) with focus on Telecommunication Systems Management

Eligibility: Candidates with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or 6.75/10 CGPA in Bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering/ Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy/Agriculture Engg. (minimum 4 years after 10+2) or Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational/Information Science, Agriculture, Commerce, Economics are eligible to apply. There is a relaxation of 5% in marks or equivalent in CGPA for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility criteria for IIT Kanpur

Programme: Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Eligibility: A Bachelor's degree in any branch of engineering or technology (AICTE approved) from a University/Institute with at least 60% of marks or grade point average of 6.0 on a scale of 10.0 in aggregate based on average over whole programme. AMIE or similar distance learning qualification is not eligible for this programme. Candidates with Architecture degree can apply provided they have taken Mathematics at 10+2 level. SC/ST candidates who qualify JMET and pass the basic qualifying degree as above are eligible to apply irrespective of marks / CPI in the qualifying degree examination.

Eligibility criteria for IIT Kharagpur

Programme: Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Eligibility: A candidate who has either secured or is likely to secure a first class Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or a first class Master's degree in Science (with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor's level) or a first class Master's degree in Economics or Commerce (with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor's level) is eligible for admission. The School follows Government of India norms regarding reservation of seats for qualified SC/ST/OBC candidates and persons with disability.

Eligibility criteria for IIT Kharagpur

Programme: Master of Human Resource Management

Eligibility: First class bachelor's in any branch of engineering/Technology or First class in master's degree in Science, Commerce, or Humanities and Social Sciences. The Department follows the Government of India norms for reservation of seats for SC/ST and OBC category students, and persons with disability. Selection is based on application rating, JMET performance, group discussion and personal interview. Appropriate weightage is given for work experience.

Eligibility criteria for IIT Madras

Programme: Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Eligibility: Candidates with B.E./ B.Tech. or equivalent with first class or equivalent from a recognized Institution or University OR a Master's degree or equivalent in any discipline with first class or equivalent from a recognized Institution or University are eligible to apply. The Government of India norms will apply for eligibility and admission of applicants from the reserved categories.

Eligibility criteria for IIT Roorkee

Programme: Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Eligibility: Candidates with Bachelor's degree in any discipline of Engineering/Technology with first class or its equivalent or a Master's degree with first class or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized Institute/University with at least 60% marks for General & OBC category candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST category candidates in aggregate or CGPA of 6.00 on a 10 point scale for General & OBC category candidates and 5.50 on a 10 point scale for SC/ST category candidates are eligible to apply.

    Sir m doing b.tech final yr with cgpa almost 7point. In 10th i hav secured 75% and in +2 i hav secured 54%. M a ph candidate. Can i apply in any of the iit's for mba prog? I gave cat 2013 bt the result not published yet. How much percentile i have to secure?

    sir i got 59.2% in btech .and im very much interested in doing mba from iits am i eligible for this?please suggest me im very much tensed…..

    Im a B. Sc Computer Science graduate with 77% and MBA from alagappa Univerisity thru distance learning with 59.5%. I am very much interested to do MBA from IIT M. Am i eligible for it? Please reply

    Hello sir g8 wrk…really nice…i read all ur articles 2day itself…m in 3rd yr rit now…computer engg..i dont hv 60% in 12th……but i have 60% in my engg degree and 10th…wat are my chances???plzzz help and respond soon…
